What's the difference?

The AQQA® ultrafiltration membrane (manufactured in Germany) uses extremely small holes of defined size to filter out microbiological contaminants and solids. Only clear water can pass through the membrane. This enables us to achieve the highest level of hygienic safety - tested by an independent laboratory accredited in the USA.

Can the AQQA®-bag be reused?

Yes, hundreds of times. However, for hygienic reasons, we recommend that you do not use it continuously for more than 6 months.

Can the AQQA®-bag clean any water?

No. The AQQA®-bag cannot remove substances dissolved in water, such as salts. Other pollutants such as pesticides or heavy metals can be contained in the water in high concentrations that are harmful to health. In case of doubt, the water must be analysed.
